English raider who has been pencilled in for this ever since easy win of the German 1000 Guineas (G2, 1600m) at this track in May. Good 2nd in UK G3 after, behind a vastly improving winner. Slight stamina doubts, but sets clear form standard. Good draw.

Erle

Winner at this track and took Berlin Diana Trial (G3, 2000m) against good opponents. Major German owner-breeder won this with the filly’s granddam, so family traditions to uphold. Good draw.

Bubble Gum

French contender, with top English jockey booked. Easy winner of two small races this term. Respectable midfield finish in French Oaks (G1, 2100m), beaten under four lengths. Supplemented, but no luck with the draw in 12. Up in trip with pedigree to suit, very much respected.

Lady Mary

Sole win came as a 2yo, but not disgraced at Listed and Group level since. Latest 3rd slightly disappointing, though had to give weight and meets front pair on better terms. Vincent Ho booked, but stable jockey chose Diamond Crown. An outsider.

Diamond Crown

Lightly raced and confirmed debut win with good 2nd in domestic G3, with several of today´s opponents behind, in a very tight finish. Draw a distinct negative.

New York City

Sole win in 3yo maiden, also running respectably at Group level. Would prefer soft ground on breeding.

Diya

Same ownership as Diamond Crown, but different trainer. Another lightly raced filly who should improve for longer trip. Dam won this race in 2019 as a huge outsider.

Irish raider, a maiden winner at 2yo. Not disgraced in French, Irish and English Group races this term, beaten under 4 lengths in a Royal Ascot G2 (2392m).

Princess Valentina

Winner at this track as a 2yo, but largely found wanting at higher level since. Latest Listed 2nd (2000m) to Diya, beating Lady Mary but outsider nonetheless.

Night of Laki’s

Another runner for Andreas Wöhler. Maiden after three runs, an outsider but the choice of the stable jockey, though.

Weltbeste

A sister to two German Derby winners. Did contest the German Derby (G1, 2400m) herself but couldn’t uphold the family tradition against males. Draw a negative.

UK raider and major disappointment in Hamburg G3 (2200m) on latest German start when favourite. Trainer in good form at home and expected to do better this time.

Three-race maiden to date, in tough company. Midfield-finish in Hamburg G3 latest, but no chance on any given form.

Stepped up on debut promise to take a Listed event at this track on only her second lifetime start. Needs to find some improvement on ratings but represents major German connections.

Created very good impression when 2/2 including Listed win over shorter. Then taken off her feet in Hamburg G3 over 1600m, so something to prove now.
