Emily Upjohn |
A winner on her only previous York start and twice a G1 winner - both times at this trip. Only grabbed by Bluestocking late on in a G1 at the Curragh in June but never threatened at Goodwood last time, a rare poor show. |

Mistral Star |
Best judged on an improved performance last time out with a comprehensive Listed victory over this trip at Newmarket. Her speed figures were impressive for that class of race and she well deserves this harder assignment. |

Queen Of The Pride |
On a roll since stepping up to this trip, winning a G3 and a G2 at Haydock. She recorded impressive times on each occasion – both on good ground - and this progressive filly looks a serious player here. |

Sea Theme |
From a stable going well, as usual. A Listed winner over this course and distance on her only previous York run, and also a comfortable Listed winner at Clairefontaine last month. Interesting despite the rise in class. |

Content |
Her last two starts of her eleven race career were the best, finishing third and second in G1s at The Curragh and latterly proving herself at this. Tends to make her move late on. |
6 |
Lava Stream |
Mixed fortunes on her last two starts, delivering a career best when going close to landing a G2 shock win at Royal Ascot but never travelling as well when down the field in a G1 at the Curragh last time. No trip worries. |
7 |
Port Fairy |
Under a positive ride she proved just too strong for eleven rivals in a G2 over this trip at Royal Ascot, probably helped by the first-time visor. However she then proved very disappointing in a G1 at the Curragh. Looks vulnerable. |

You Got To Me |
Upgraded her previous performances to win a 2400m G1 at the Curragh last month. Her trainer thought that the tongue strap she was wearing then helped and also commended her bravery for having to get through gaps at crucial stages of that event. |
