Racing Incident Report
TOY QUEST and TOM'S FIRST were slow to begin. On jumping, BEST FOR ALL stumbled. Near the 1100 Metres, SUNNY RIVIERA got its head up and became unbalanced when being steadied as a result of being momentarily crowded for room inside MY FORTUNE. In the middle stages, SUNNY RIVIERA hung out. In the early part of the Straight, RIVER CENTAINE had difficultly obtaining clear running, then near the 200 Metres was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of BEST FOR ALL which was giving ground. EVER SUCCESS and LUCKY OWNERS were sent for sampling. After the race, D Whyte (ALWAYS WIN) reported the horse was not striding out towards the end of the race. ALWAYS WIN was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings.
