2 4 BEER PALACE (H361) Jumped only fairly and then was bumped by CALIFORNIATOTALITY and became unbalanced. Held up making the Home Turn and shifted to the inside of GALLANT CROWN near the 400 Metres to obtain clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 CELTIC TIMES (G230) No report.
4 11 CALIFORNIATOTALITY (H418) Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start, examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. Bumped at the start and became unbalanced. When questioned, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his intention was to hold an on-pace position, but CALIFORNIATOTALITY, which was not racing with blinkers for the first time, did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. He added when a number of runners to his outside improved forward, CALIFORNIATOTALITY raced further back than what was anticipated. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 1 LAUGH TALE (G406) Had some difficulty obtaining clear running near the 400 Metres.
6 7 CHATEAU LE PECHE (H471) No report.
7 9 CHILLI BABA (G339) When questioned regarding his riding out, K Teetan stated that close to the winning post when riding his mount along, he became momentarily unbalanced in the saddle, however, was able to continue to push CHILLI BABA out over the final stride of the event. After the race, K Teetan advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position on his mount.
8 8 GALLANT CROWN (D359) From the 400 Metres until the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind CHILLI BABA.
9 10 FRUITY WARRIOR (J035) No report.
10 5 ROUND THE EARTH (G358) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
11 3 I CAN (H381) After the race, A Atzeni advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position on his mount.
12 14 HORSE OF GOOD LUCK (H160) From the 350 Metres until the 250 Metres raced tight between CELTIC TIMES and GALLANT CROWN which shifted out slightly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
13 2 U S S CONSTITUTION (H357) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 13 HERO WARRIOR (J006) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
