6 9 COPARTNER AMBITION (E218) After the race, H Bentley reported that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages. He added that COPARTNER AMBITION was obliged to race wide until near the 600 Metres and finished the race off reasonably well. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, COPARTNER AMBITION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
7 1 SEASONS WIT (H223) Bumped shortly after the start and became unbalanced. In the early and middle stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres was steadied away from TOMODACHI KOKOROE. When questioned, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that approaching the winning post he was positioned close to the heels of TOMODACHI KOKOROE and as a result did not push his mount out over the final stride of the event. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of Apprentice Chung, 7th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race.
8 2 BUNDLE OF CHARM (G213) Jumped awkwardly. Near the 300 Metres was bumped by BON’S A PEARLA when that runner shifted out to improve. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 BON'S A PEARLA (G449) After travelling a short distance was crowded between WONDER KIT and SEASONS WIT. Bumped at the 300 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, BON’S A PEARLA will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 10 ASTROLOGER (G102) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 11 YOUTHFUL DEAL (G340) Bumped shortly after the start.
