8 9 WOOD ON FIRE (C460) Crowded on jumping between GOLDEN CHAMPION and BOWSER, both of which shifted ground, resulting in WOOD ON FIRE making contact with BOWSER. Approaching the 100 Metres raced tight between AMAZING ACE and YODA’S CHOICE which shifted out to continue into clear running. After the race, K C Leung stated that his instructions were to hold a forward position, but WOOD ON FIRE raced further back after being crowded at the start.
9 10 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) Jumped only fairly and then was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 3 AMAZING ACE (H359) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, AMAZING ACE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 6 CIRCUIT TEN (G429) No report.
12 2 ERNEST FEELING (E209) After the race, A Hamelin stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said ERNEST FEELING was under pressure in the middle stages and failed to run on in the Home Straight. He added at its last start, in his opinion, ERNEST FEELING was advantaged by the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ERNEST FEELING, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ERNEST FEELING will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
