2 2 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 5 QUARTZ LEGEND (K548) Jumped only fairly.
4 8 LUCKY XANDER (K407) Jumped awkwardly. Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by ETERNAL FORTUNE which shifted out. K Teetan reported that his mount raced greenly during the event and proved difficult to ride out in the Home Straight.
5 6 CANDLELIGHT DINNER (J468) No report.
6 7 BLUE ILLUSION (K468) No report.
7 12 SIR CHARGE (K361) Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was then checked when crowded between PARENTS’ LOVE and LUCKY XANDER which was taken out by ETERNAL FORTUNE. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 3 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) Y L Chung stated that his mount performs best when able to be positioned on the rail and this, in his opinion, was the reason why the horse did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 4 SIX THREE WIN (K513) Jumped awkwardly. Near the 200 Metres lay in, resulting in its rider L Hewitson having to stop riding and changing his whip through to his right hand.
10 11 TACTICAL COMMAND (H197) Between the 200 Metres and the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind BLUE ILLUSION. When being shifted to the inside of BLUE ILLUSION leaving the 100 Metres was then unable to be ridden out to the finish of the race when held up behind PARENTS’ LOVE which was giving ground.
11 9 VICTOR THE RAPID (J393) Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 10 LOOKING BRIGHT (K315) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, LOOKING BRIGHT will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
