Racing Incident Report

1 12 FLASH STAR (K431) In the early stages raced ungenerously when being shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier. In the Home Straight lay in and near the 100 Metres rider R Kingscote dropped his right rein. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer C S Shum stated that he had instructed Jockey R Kingscote to settle the horse where comfortable and endeavour to make a wide run in the Home Straight. He said after settling in a midfield position the horse was advantaged by being able to improve to the inside away from other horses and this was the only explanation he could offer for its improved performance tonight. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 8 LOVING VIBES (J359) On jumping shifted in and became unbalanced when it made contact with BITS SUPERSTAR. Near the 200 Metres made slight contact with MEGA BONUS due to both runners shifting ground. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 7 BITS SUPERSTAR (J362) Became unbalanced at the start when bumped.
4 5 MEGA BONUS (E184) Bumped at the start. Near the 200 Metres made slight contact with LOVING VIBES due to both runners shifting ground.
5 9 CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (G451) No report.
6 3 SUPERB BOY (G335) In the Home Straight lay in and made contact with KING OBERON on a number of occasions after the 200 Metres as KING OBERON endeavoured to obtain clear running. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
7 2 KING OBERON (H407) Over the final 200 Metres was held up for clear running between BITS SUPERSTAR and SUPERB BOY and made contact with SUPERB BOY on a number of occasions when endeavouring to obtain clear running.
8 6 THUNDER PRINCE (K017) Over the final 200 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 1 NORTHERN FIRE BALL (J488) Bumped at the start.
10 4 ALABAMA SONG (K480) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 11 EVERYONE'S GALLOP (K140) Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
12 10 THE PROMISE (K219) No report. <18/12/2025 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Officer reported that THE PROMISE was lame in its right hind leg on the day after racing. Before being allowed to race again, THE PROMISE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
