6 13 ALLCASH (K190) Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when attempting a narrow run between ANOTHER WORLD and RELIABLE PROFIT. In this incident ALLCASH made contact with RELIABLE PROFIT on a number of occasions. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 8 RELIABLE PROFIT (G462) Approaching the 200 Metres was bumped by ALLCASH on a number of occasions.
8 10 TALENTS TRUMP (K535) Shortly after the start made heavy contact with PERFECT TEAM when crowded by MASK RIDER which shifted out abruptly when being corrected by its rider M Chadwick. As a consequence TALENTS TRUMP blundered. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 12 MASK RIDER (K169) M Chadwick reported that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position but when his mount shifted out at the start it settled further back in the field than intended.
10 9 ARIEL (G223) No report.
11 14 ENDEARED (H161) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
12 2 PERFECT TEAM (H120) Shortly after the start was bumped heavily on the hindquarters by TALENTS TRUMP when racing tight to the inside of ARIEL.
13 6 SHAMZ (L097) A Atzeni stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to go forward. Trainer A S Cruz confirmed the instructions and stated he issued those instructions as he felt it was advantageous to race on-pace today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 11 EVERSTAR (K264) In the early stages raced keenly when caught wide and without cover. The performance of EVERSTAR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, EVERSTAR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea.
