1 6 RIDING HIGH (J403) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 8 MAJESTIC DELIGHT (K189) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with LUCKY GENERATIONS. C L Chau advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a midfield position as it had not been finishing its races off at its more recent starts when ridden forward. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 COME FAST FAY FAY (K121) Jumped only fairly.
4 5 RUN RUN TIMING (H403) C Y Ho reported that he was instructed to hold a more forward position but after jumping only fairly and then being crowded shortly after the start his mount settled further back in the field than what had been anticipated.
5 9 RICH HORSE (J191) Near the 900 Metres was steadied when racing tight between LEGEND STAR and CIRCUIT VICTORY (H Bowman) which shifted in slightly. H Bowman was advised to exercise more care. A short distance later RICH HORSE was again steadied when crowded between CIRCUIT VICTORY and LEGEND STAR which shifted to the outside of TURF PHOENIX when that runner was steadied in front.
6 1 I P O BROS (K193) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 4 CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487) Shortly after the start was bumped by LUCKY GENERATIONS. Near the 600 Metres struck a bird with its left front leg.
8 7 TURF PHOENIX (J294) Bumped on jumping. Approaching the 800 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied when being crossed by NOBLE DELUXE.
9 10 ORIENTAL SURPRISE (K028) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Over the final 50 Metres could not be fully ridden out when positioned close to RICH HORSE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 14 NOBLE DELUXE (K052) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. A Atzeni stated that after having to make some use of his mount in the early stages to race outside the lead it did not respond to his riding in the Home Straight and was disappointing. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 13 LUCKY GENERATIONS (J338) Bumped at the start. J Orman stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing very wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result was unable to run on when under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 11 SUPER CHARIZZARD (J184) No report.
13 12 EXCELLENT DADDY (E321) Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
14 2 LEGEND STAR (K271) Jumped awkwardly. Near the 800 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of TURF PHOENIX. Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. D B McMonagle stated that his mount travelled well in the middle stages but did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
