2 11 COURIER MAGIC (H290) Jumped awkwardly and got its head up. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. In the middle stages raced keenly. Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider B Thompson having to correct his mount for some distance near the 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 5 JOLLY RULER (E346) No report.
4 3 MIDORI FUJI (J432) Shifted in on jumping, made contact with LUCKY COMBINATION and became unbalanced.
5 4 SATIRICAL FAN (J214) No report.
6 9 ATOMIC BEAUTY (H066) Bumped shortly after the start.
7 10 POCHETTINO (J149) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 1 FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229) Shifted out at the start, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
9 12 PEGASUS GENERAL (G189) Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
10 7 SNOWALOT (E397) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with TO INFINITY. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SNOWALOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 8 TO INFINITY (G277) Bumped at the start.
12 2 LUCKY COMBINATION (J512) Crowded on jumping between FOREVER GLORIOUS and MIDORI FUJI, both of which shifted ground. In the early stages raced keenly. After the event, M L Yeung stated that LUCKY COMBINATION did not run out the 1650 Metres in tonight’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
