A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |

He said when his mount began only fairly and then was checked near the 1100 Metres this resulted in GOLDEN LUCK settling further back than intended where it obtained a midfield position with cover behind CHAMPION METHOD. He added in the middle stages CHAMPION METHOD did not improve into the event which resulted in him having to make a run to that horse’s outside making the Home Turn. He said he was then taken wider making the Home Turn which resulted in GOLDEN LUCK not being able to run on when he placed it under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. |
