14 2 CELESTIAL HARMONY (K059) 12 P N Wong (-7) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. Bumped near the 350 Metres. Apprentice P N Wong stated that her mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 3 PERFECT PEACH (E488) 3 Z Purton Jumped only fairly. Z Purton could offer no excuse for the horse’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer C W Chang stated that PERFECT PEACH had pleased him leading into today’s event but advised the horse was a little stirred up prior to the start of the race. He added also, in his opinion, PERFECT PEACH does not appreciate racing in amongst other horses and this may have contributed to the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. The performance of PERFECT PEACH was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, PERFECT PEACH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. 2 4 PANDA LEGEND (H002) 11 R Kingscote On jumping was bumped by CELESTIAL HARMONY which shifted in. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 5 SMART BEAUTY (G477) 4 Y L Chung (-2) Near the 350 Metres made contact with CELESTIAL HARMONY when improving into a narrow run between MR GOOD VIBES and CELESTIAL HARMONY.

12 7 LITTLE FAIRY (H206) 5 H Doyle Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 100 Metres was shifted to the inside of PERFECT PEACH to continue into clear running.
11 8 SMASHING EXPRESS (J252) 1 B Avdulla Over the final 150 Metres was held up behind MANYTHANKS FOREVER and could not be ridden out to the finish of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

4 10 HARRY'S HERO (H332) 13 K De Melo Jumped awkwardly and then was crowded by ONLY U which shifted in abruptly. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When questioned K De Melo stated his instructions from a wide barrier were to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said as a consequence HARRY’S HERO settled back in the field where it followed PANDA LEGEND during the race. When questioned regarding his riding near the 500 Metres K De Melo stated that when PANDA LEGEND shifted out at this stage his mount, which was racing keenly, improved to the inside of PANDA LEGEND and therefore he elected to remain in this position with a view to following ONLY U and PERFECT PEACH into the race. He added after shifting to the outside of ONLY U near the 400 Metres he commenced to ride his mount along but near the 300 Metres he was disappointed for clear running between MR GOOD VIBES and ONLY U when that runner shifted out, which resulted in HARRY’S HERO being held up for clear running between the 300 Metres and the 100 Metres. After considering his explanation the Stewards found the tactics adopted by Jockey De Melo were reasonable in the circumstances.

8 12 SUPREME WINNER (J255) 9 A Badel A Badel reported that from a wide barrier and with blinkers being removed he was instructed to ride SUPREME WINNER in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions and advised he issued those instructions as SUPREME WINNER has not been finishing its races off when ridden in a forward position and had barrier trialed well on 14 October 2025 when ridden in a conservative manner in the early stages.
3 13 GANGNAM STAR (H326) 7 K Teetan Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the right side of its starting gate. Prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards considered if there were sufficient grounds for a protest/objection against either MR GOOD VIBES being declared the winner or PANDA LEGEND being declared the second placegetter after both horses shifted ground near the finish of the event. When the Stewards were satisfied that the crowding to GANGNAM STAR did not occur until passing the winning post they declined to lodge a protest/objection and weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge.

4 3 JUMBO BLESSING (K529) 2 C Y Ho Over the final 300 Metres lay out under pressure and shifted ground towards the grandstand running rail. C Y Ho reported that his mount was standing awkwardly in the starting gates and as a consequence jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.

Between the 450 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up behind SO MY FOLKS. Near the 250 Metres CIRCUS SPEED was then eased when crowded between SO MY FOLKS and STRAIGHT TO GLORY which shifted in slightly.
8 DH 10 STRAIGHT TO GLORY (K340) 11 J Orman Over the final 350 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be tested to the finish of the event.

11 DH 13 WINNING DIAMOND (K216) 12 M Chadwick Over the final 350 Metres was held up for clear running and could not be ridden out to the finish of the event.
11 DH 14 WINNING MONEY (J116) 13 K De Melo Between the 500 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind STRAIGHT TO GLORY. When questioned K De Melo stated that after following GIANT BALLON near the 250 Metres he observed GIANT BALLON shift in slightly and as a consequence he endeavoured to improve to that runner’s outside. He said as he commenced to improve GIANT BALLON gave ground and shifted out slightly which resulted in WINNING MONEY having to be checked approaching the 200 Metres when unable to continue forward. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

13 2 CIRCUIT VICTORY (H487) 7 P N Wong (-7) Apprentice P N Wong stated that in the Home Straight she had some concerns with her mount’s action when it commenced to give ground. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 3 IRON LEGION (J459) 9 Y L Chung (-2) Jumped awkwardly. M L Yeung (KA YING POWER) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of IRON LEGION, resulting in IRON LEGION having to be checked to avoid KA YING POWER, shifting in and also crowding the running of THE CONCENTRATION. M L Yeung was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 19 November 2025 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 1 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his neutral race riding record. In addition, Jockey Yeung was fined $20,000. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 4 BLUE BARON (J448) 4 K C Leung Near the 900 Metres became unbalanced when positioned tight to the inside of THE CONCENTRATION. K C Leung reported that his mount did not appreciate racing in amongst other horses during the event.
7 5 SOMETHING JONAH (K024) 13 J Orman Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
5 6 LEGEND STAR (K271) 14 H Bowman Noted to have blood in the mouth on arrival at the Start. Was examined by the Veterinary Officer and found to be suitable to race. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 200 Metres was bumped by MY FLYING ANGEL which shifted out to improve.

Crowded near the 150 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 13 BINGO BABE (K115) 12 M F Poon Near the 900 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid KA YING POWER.
1 14 KA YING POWER (H169) 10 M L Yeung Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid THE CONCENTRATION. M L Yeung pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference near the 150 Metres (see IRON LEGION). Sent for sampling post-race.
11 DOUBLE SHOW (G250) K Teetan Withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to have a heart condition during the pre-race examination which required further assessment. Before being allowed to race again, DOUBLE SHOW will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Following further assessment of the heart condition, the Stewards will consider if any further action is taken against the horse.

Near the 1100 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid THE LION KING. Near the 500 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from BEAUTY MISSILE. In the Home Straight lay out, raced greenly and proved difficult to ride. Near the 150 Metres CHINA WIN became held up behind INNO SUPER and shifted out when being steadied to avoid INNO SUPER.
3 8 GLORIASTAR (K439) 4 L Ferraris Near the 550 Metres was steadied when crowded between FLYING KNIGHT and TURF PHOENIX which shifted out and away from GALLANT EPOCH when it came under pressure.
2 9 AUDACIOUS PURSUIT (K398) 13 H Bowman Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Near the 100 Metres lay out and made contact with THE AUSPICIOUS. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 10 INNO SUPER (K319) 11 Z Purton On jumping was bumped by TURF PHOENIX which shifted out. Z Purton reported that he was asked to ride the horse slightly more forward than its previous race starts. He said when caught wide in the early stages he elected to ride his mount forward to avoid covering additional ground. He added once INNO SUPER obtained a position in the lead it lacked concentration and did not fully stretch out when racing in this position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

14 12 GOR GOR (K104) 6 M L Yeung M L Yeung advised that he was instructed to ride the horse in a forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea. The performance of GOR GOR, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, GOR GOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
13 13 TURF PHOENIX (J294) 10 H T Mo (-2) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. After being crossed by INNO SUPER leaving the 800 Metres attempted to obtain a position to that runner’s outside but was prevented from doing so when HAPPY UNIVERSE improved quickly to its outside. As a result TURF PHOENIX and HAPPY UNIVERSE made contact near the 750 Metres.

11 8 CALIFORNIA BLUES (K509) 6 Y L Chung (-2) Leaving the 1000 Metres BIGTIME GENERATION shifted to the outside of MATTERS MOST when being crossed by that runner, resulting in OTOKOMAE being taken wider and CALIFORNIA BLUES then being eased when awkwardly placed close to the heels of OTOKOMAE.
12 9 ETERNAL RICHNESS (K557) 10 H Doyle After travelling a short distance was bumped. Bumped near the 900 Metres. Near the 500 Metres made contact with MATTERS MOST when that runner shifted out to improve to the outside of INFINITE RESOLVE. H Doyle reported that her mount, which was having its first race start in Hong Kong, raced greenly throughout the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 10 OTOKOMAE (K495) 4 R Kingscote Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 900 Metres made contact with ETERNAL RICHNESS when racing tight to the inside of that runner.
5 11 TAOGETHER (K520) 7 K Teetan Jumped awkwardly. Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid CALIFORNIA BLUES. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Race:6 (165) SUISSE PROGRAMME HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 4 1200 m

8 1 JUBILANT WINNER (J346) 6 A Atzeni After travelling a short distance lay in and was bumped on the hindquarters. After being shifted behind BRAVE WIN near the 900 Metres then shifted out making the first turn. Near the 450 Metres was bumped and taken wider by BRAVE WIN. A Atzeni stated that his mount travelled only fairly during the event and failed to respond to his riding when under pressure in the Home Straight. Trainer J Richards advised that he had been satisfied with the horse in the lead up to today’s race which included a barrier trial conducted on 31 October 2025 when the horse performed well. He said as the horse settled slightly further back in the field than he expected and was hampered on the Home Turn he was not too disappointed with its performance, particularly being up in weight today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of JUBILANT WINNER was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, JUBILANT WINNER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
4 2 VOYAGE BOSS (K321) 12 K C Leung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. K C Leung reported that the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said when his mount commenced reasonably well and was caught wide in the early stages he elected to continue forward to avoid covering additional ground.

9 5 MOTOMAN (J436) 1 J Orman Near the 1000 Metres made contact with AWESOME TREASURE which was positioned tight to the inside of SZERYNG.
10 6 BRAVE WIN (K421) 4 C Y Ho After travelling a short distance was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Near the 450 Metres shifted to the outside of GOOD CHAP to obtain clear running and made contact with JUBILANT WINNER.
7 7 INCREDIBLE MOMENT (K275) 5 L Ferraris Jumped only fairly. After travelling a short distance then became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of JUBILANT WINNER which lay in. L Ferraris reported that his mount travelled satisfactorily in the early stages but responded only fairly to his riding over the concluding stages.

12 9 GOOD CHAP (J499) 10 H Bowman H Bowman stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He said in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding and he was of the opinion there may have been something amiss with it. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of GOOD CHAP, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, GOOD CHAP will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
2 10 GREAT SPIRIT (J155) 11 H Doyle From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
11 11 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) 9 P N Wong (-7) When questioned Apprentice P N Wong stated that her mount jumped awkwardly and as a result became unbalanced. She said afterwards she was of the opinion the horse may commence to buck and for this reason she did not ride it along shortly after the start. She said when she was satisfied VIGOR ELLEEGANT was not going to react adversely to her riding she then elected to push it along in the early stages in an endeavour to try and hold a more competitive position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse’s trachea and also found the horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
5 12 AWESOME TREASURE (E435) 2 L Hewitson Bumped near the 1000 Metres. When questioned regarding his riding in the early stages and if there was an opportunity to maintain its position to the inside of SZERYNG, L Hewitson stated that he was instructed to endeavour to find cover on the horse and not to make too much use of his mount in the early stages to ensure that AWESOME TREASURE settled. He said in the early stages when racing to the outside of MOTOMAN he was reluctant to continue forward and cross that runner as this would require him to make use of his mount contrary to the instructions issued. He added leaving the 1000 Metres he was content to allow SZERYNG to cross his mount as he felt this would provide the horse a good opportunity to settle whilst at the same time being able to follow the favourite into the race. Trainer D A Hayes confirmed the instructions issued. The Stewards found the tactics adopted by Jockey Hewitson were reasonable in the circumstances.

12 2 CHANCHENG GLORY (H212) 1 C L Chau Leaving the 500 Metres was hampered when being steadied to avoid CAP FERRAT which was giving ground. C L Chau reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position but his mount was unable to do so despite his efforts. He said making the Home Turn CHANCHENG GLORY lost momentum when being steadied to avoid CAP FERRAT and did not respond to his riding thereafter.

He added that from the 600 Metres he became concerned there may be something amiss with his mount and for this reason making the Home Turn he retired it from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils and also to be displaying an irregular heart rhythm. When questioned H Doyle stated that her instructions were to endeavour to lead the race and find the rail as DROMBEG BANNER performs best in this position. She said after commencing well and riding her mount along, when positioned to the outside and in advance of BEAUTY CRESCENT, she continued to ride her mount forward with a view to crossing BEAUTY CRESCENT in compliance with her instructions. She said when BEAUTY CRESCENT maintained the position to her inside and she was not clear to cross that runner she then near the 1000 Metres restrained her mount to take a position to the outside of BEAUTY CRESCENT. She added as a result of the tactics she adopted in the early stages the race was run inside of standard time through that section of the race. When questioned regarding her riding from the 450 Metres and if there was an opportunity to ride her mount more patiently, given the fast early pace, Jockey Doyle stated that making the turn DROMBEG BANNER did not travel well and for this reason near the 450 Metres she commenced to ride her mount along to make up ground on BEAUTY CRESCENT and after initially responding to her riding the horse’s run ended near the 100 Metres. After considering her explanation, whilst the Stewards found the tactics she adopted in the early stages were reasonable, she was advised that in the circumstances she made an error of judgement from the 450 Metres by placing her mount under pressure too soon, particularly having regard to the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued.

He said after improving into the lead to the inside of DROMBEG BANNER near the 1100 Metres BEAUTY CRESCENT then commenced to race keenly when DROMBEG BANNER was positioned to his outside. He added that this resulted in the pace of the event during the early and middle stages of the race being run inside of standard time. After considering his explanation the Stewards advised Jockey Chung that he had made an error of judgement in the early stages by continuing to endeavour to maintain the lead when the pace of the event was being run inside of standard time and in the circumstances he should have allowed DROMBEG BANNER to cross his mount and take advantage of the option to obtain a position with cover behind that runner.
