Racing Incident Report
CITY COMMANDER jumped awkwardly with its head up. TIME WELL left the gates badly with its head in the air, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of BOLD'N POWER. Near the 600 Metres, TERRIFIC SPIRIT became unbalanced when awkward on the heels of BELOVED PARTNER and tight inside JET JACKSON. At about the 600 Metre, CITY COMMANDER struck the running rail. Over about the last 100 Metres, CITY COMMANDER was held up behind BELOVED PARTNER and on the inside of TRULY DELIGHTED. In the Straight, TRULY DELIGHTED hung in. C Brown (SPLENDID BO BO) stated the horse was not fitted with a breast plate and in the middle stages the saddle started to shift back. He went on to say in the Straight the saddle was back into an awkward position, he was not able to ride the horse out as he normally would. In addition to this, he said SPLENDID BO BO had a tendency to hang in.
