Racing Incident Report
After arriving at the course, it was reported that CAVALO had travelled badly in the horse's box. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said it had sustained abrasions to its near side hip and some minor abrasions to both hind legs and to its near front leg. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. He discussed the matter with the Assistant Trainer and then advised the Stewards that in his opinion the horse was suitable to race. CHIEF'S FORTUNE jumped awkwardly with its head up. HOLE IN ONE was slowly away. SPLENDID BO BO missed the start. On jumping, GUESS WHAT bounded in he air, threw its head about. Turning into the Straight, Apprentice K C Tsang (TOP PRACTITIONER) dropped his whip. In the Straight, CHIEF'S FORTUNE hung in. After the 200 Metres, HOLE IN ONE was steadied and shifted out to avoid COQ D'OR which was giving ground. SPECTACULAR WIN was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
