Racing Incident Report

CHEVAL D'OR jumped very awkwardly, threw its head about. RICH STAR left the gates badly, also threw its head about, as a consequence of this M de Montfort was momentarily unbalanced. ELECTRONIC SEEKER missed the start slightly, then just after the break was checked off the heels of ARABICA which shifted out. Just after jumping, NATURAL FLIGHT knuckled. About the 800 Metres ME AND YOU and WINNING HURRAH bumped. At this time WINNING HURRAH was momentarily tight inside SMILING FOREST (W Woods). After bumping with WINNING HURRAH, ME AND YOU shifted out abruptly away from the running rail, as a consequence of this WINNING HURRAH was carried onto the heels of SMILING FOREST and was severely checked. In view of the circumstances it was decided no direct action would be taken but W Woods was told he must exercise care at all times. For some distance after the 700 Metres ELECTRONIC SEEKER was awkwardly placed on the heels of NATURAL FLIGHT and tight inside DANCING SOUND. To obtain running ELECTRONIC SEEKER was steadied back to last position at about the 600 Metres then shifted out. Before the 400 Metres UPTOMEEYES was endeavouring to shift out, was unable to do so, bumped with KASHMAC and was then shifted in abruptly to improve inside WINNING HURRAH. About the 200 Metres ARABICA was disappointed for running between INTERVENE and CITY PATROL, was checked and shifted out to find running and go forward. INTERVENE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing. K S Yu (CITY PATROL) was reminded of his obligation regarding the Marker Pole Instruction.
