Racing Incident Report

FORTUNE STAR was slowly away, was then crowded for room between SIR TIMAH and MY FRIENDS SAY which shifted out. On jumping, ELECTRONIC SEEKER and ILIKETOSMILE bumped. GRAND FIGHTER missed the start slightly, was then further inconvenienced when crowded for room between TOPSPIN TOO and KING COBRA. DARWIN jumped awkwardly, shifted ground and bumped the hindquarters of SPECTACULAR TALK. Near the 800 Metres, HAPPY ECLIPSE was checked and shifted out when crowded by MEDIC HERO (Apprentice C H Tse) which shifted in when not clear. Apprentice C H Tse was severely reprimanded and told he has to exercise far more care than this. When HAPPY ECLIPSE shifted out, inconvenience was caused to KING COBRA which was obliged to race wider for some distance. About the 800 Metres, ROUND THE WORLD, which was awkwardly placed, got its head on the side and hung in away from the hindquarters of HAPPY ECLIPSE. Near the 700 Metres, DARWIN became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside ROUND THE WORLD. About the 200 Metres, TOPSPIN TOO was steadied when disappointed for running between ILIKETOSMILE and ROUND THE WORLD which was shifting in. After the 200 Metres, DARWIN, which was finding the line nicely, was steadied and shifted out to avoid SIR TIMAH, then in the run to the winning post DARWIN was awkward between SIR TIMAH and SPECTACULAR TALK. The performance of FORTUNE STAR, which tailed off, was considered to be unacceptable. Before FORTUNE STAR can race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
