Racing Incident Report
MEHBOOB THE THIRD left the gates very awkwardly and shifted in abruptly across the heels of ALL WIN. On jumping, MANY HAPPY RETURNS was crowded for room between GOT IT RIGHT and DONGGUAN EXCELS which shifted out. HAIL WINNER was slowly away. About the 500 Metres, DONGGUAN EXCELS shifted out in an endeavour to go forward, in doing so bumped GOT IT RIGHT. Just after straightening, ALL WIN was momentarily awkward on the hindquarters of HAIL WINNER. About 100 Metres out, VICTORY MOUNT, which was giving ground, was crowded for room between MANY HAPPY RETURNS which shifted out slightly and DONGGUAN EXCELS which got its head up and shifted in slightly away from GOT IT RIGHT. When being steadied as a result of the crowding, VICTORY MOUNT accidentally clipped the heels of DONGGUAN EXCELS and knuckled. The occurrence in the opinion of the Stewards was accidental. No action taken. DONGGUAN EXCELS was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. The post race clinical examination of DONGGUAN EXCELS was carried out. No abnormalities detected. ELEGANCE and MEHBOOB THE THIRD were sent for sampling.
