Racing Incident Report
HOROSCOPE was slow to begin. Shortly after the start, SEREVI and NORTHERN FLYER bumped. On the latter part of the Home Turn, HOROSCOPE was held up behind DANEFACTOR. MASTER MAGIC, which was following, was steadied and shifted to the outside of HOROSCOPE. At the 200 Metres, MONEY WINS was momentarily steadied when crowded for room by MARK OF EXCELLENCE which when being ridden out had a tendency to hang in. No action was taken. SEREVI, which tailed out, was sent for a clinical veterinary examination. SEREVI was examined by the Veterinary Officer following the race. An endoscopic examination was carried out. This showed a significant amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before SEREVI can race again, it will be required to perform competitively in an official barrier trial and will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. MARK OF EXCELLENCE, EXPEDIENT and SUPER CENTURY were sent for sampling.
