Racing Incident Report
After being boxed, FOREVER WIN became fractious and reared. The horse was removed from the stalls and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. FORTUNE DANCER began awkwardly and got its head up. GREENMORE and DEEP PURPLE were slow to begin. On jumping, ABLE WIN and HAPPY CONTENDER bumped. Also on jumping, CHATER LANE was bumped by MAGICAL LOT which shifted ground after being bumped by SHABU SHABU. Shortly after the start, SEASONS TREASURE was checked when crowded for room between CHATER LANE which shifted out and SUPER IDEAL which got its head on the side and shifted in abruptly. Near the 1000 Metres, CHATER LANE was momentarily steadied away from the heels of HAPPY CONTENDER which had its head on the side and shifted in when just clear. Approaching the 800 Metres, SUPER IDEAL, which was racing close to the heels of CHATER LANE, shifted in and bumped SHABU SHABU. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, CHATER LANE was steadied when crowded for room between FOREVER WIN and MAGICAL LOT which shifted out slightly. SUPER IDEAL, which was following CHATER LANE, was shifted out. After the 200 Metres, SEASONS TREASURE commenced to hang in and because of this near the 100 Metres D Whyte stopped riding and straightened the horse. Near the 100 Metres, CLASSA VICTORY, which had been wide throughout and was giving ground, was bumped by FORTUNE DANCER which shifted in. Also near the 100 Metres, HAPPY CONTENDER was steadied when crowded for room between FOREVER WIN and SHABU SHABU which shifted out slightly. Throughout the race, GOOD FIT travelled wide and without cover. COUNTRY BOY and SUPER IDEAL were sent for sampling.
