Racing Incident Report

VICTORY MASCOT was slow to begin.
EASY TO RICH shifted out abruptly at the start, resulting in XILAI XIANZI being crowded for room inside CITY POWER.
From the outside barrier, EURO SWIFTLY was taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
After the 1000 Metres, CITY POWER was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching the 900 Metres, SPURS ON was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GOOD LUCK WIN which was steadied and shifted to the outside of JIMSON THE BEST. XILAI XIANZI, which was following SPURS ON, improved into tight running inside the heels of SPURS ON and after the 900 Metres had to be checked away from the heels of that horse which shifted back in slightly. No action was taken.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, GOOD LUCK WIN got its head on the side and lay out and then making the Home Turn hung out.
Near the 450 Metres, EURO SWIFTLY was steadied away from the heels of HONEY PRINCESS which was commencing to give ground.
At the entrance to the Straight, THE UNTOUCHABLELAD was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASY TO RICH.
Close to the finishing line, SPIRIT SOARING was steadied when crowded for room between THE UNTOUCHABLELAD which got its head on the side and shifted in slightly and GOOD LUCK WIN which shifted out under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of EURO SWIFTLY, CITY POWER and EASY TO RICH after the race did not show any significant findings.
THE UNTOUCHABLELAD and XILAI XIANZI were sent for sampling.
<6/12/2012 Additional Veterinary Report>CITY POWER, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. CITY POWER was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer Y S Tsui this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, CITY POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
