Racing Incident Report
From the outside barrier, RACING SUPERNOVA was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
SUPER LIFELINE lost its left hind plate approaching the 1200 Metres.
Approaching and passing the 1200 Metres, ALMABABY travelled keenly and got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover behind FLYING MOOCHI.
RACING SUPERNOVA was unable to obtain clear running until passing the 300 Metres.
Near the 250 Metres, DASHING FELLOW became unbalanced after being struck over the nose by the whip of J Moreira (RACING SUPERNOVA).
Passing the 100 Metres, J Moreira dropped his whip.
For the majority of the race, KEY WITNESS travelled wide and without cover.
Z Purton reported that it had been intended for DASHING FELLOW to take up a forward position outside FLYING MOOCHI which was expected to lead. He said however that DASHING FELLOW was slow to begin and consequently raced further back in the field than had been expected.
INVINCIBLE DRAGON and RACING SUPERNOVA were sent for sampling.
