Racing Incident Report

LE TERROIR shifted in at the start and bumped BRILLIANT which became unbalanced.
PLAY WISE shifted in at the start and was steadied away from the heels of FLYING MONKEY which also shifted out.
From wide barriers, MUTUAL JOY and WHISKY KNIGHT were steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the turn near the 1000 Metres, LE TERROIR was momentarily crowded for room inside SHAMPORT which got its head on the side and lay in away from LORIZ. As the Stewards were satisfied that there was no rider carelessness associated with this incident, no further action was taken.
Making the turn after the 1000 Metres, FLYING MONKEY got its head on the side and lay out, resulting in BRAVE BABY being taken wider. After this, FLYING MONKEY travelled wide and without cover.
Making the Home Turn, GOLDEN GLORY got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FLYING MONKEY. FLYING MONKEY then lay out rounding the Home Turn.
Passing the 300 Metres, BRILLIANT got its head on the side, shifted in and bumped PLAY WISE, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced. After being directed out away from PLAY WISE, BRILLIANT was then steadied away from the heels of that horse passing the 200 Metres as PLAY WISE shifted to the outside of LORIZ to obtain clear running.
A veterinary inspection of LORIZ immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LE TERROIR and BRAVE BABY were sent for sampling.
