Racing Incident Report
On arrival at the Start, it was noted that SCOTCH TYCOON had blood in the mouth. SCOTCH TYCOON was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
SEE U AGAIN shifted in at the start and bumped CIRCUIT SEVEN, resulting in both horses being hampered and losing ground. After this, CIRCUIT SEVEN was ridden along for some distance to make up lost ground.
From wide barriers, SAVVY DELIGHT, OVERSUBSCRIBED and TSUEN WAN GLORY were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
SCOTCH TYCOON was also steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover and near the 900 Metres was awkwardly placed outside the heels of HAPPY GOOD GUYS.
Shortly after the start, BULB PRINCE and HAPPY GOOD GUYS bumped.
Near the 950 Metres, SEE U AGAIN was tightened for room between GANG OF BROTHERS and CIRCUIT SEVEN which shifted out.
After being ridden along in the early stages to obtain a forward position, BULB PRINCE was steadied approaching and passing the 900 Metres when racing wide.
Passing the 800 Metres, CIRCUIT SEVEN shifted out away from the heels of CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN, resulting in SEE U AGAIN being taken out and bumping GANG OF BROTHERS.
After the 700 Metres, BULB PRINCE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SEE U AGAIN.
OVERSUBSCRIBED got its head on the side making the turn near the 600 Metres.
BULB PRINCE made the turn near the 600 Metres awkwardly, shifted out and bumped SCOTCH TYCOON.
HAPPY GOOD GUYS lost its right front plate in the middle stages.
At the 400 Metres, BULB PRINCE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SEE U AGAIN.
Rounding the Home Turn, SAVVY DELIGHT was held up for clear running and on straightening was shifted out away from the heels of OVERSUBSCRIBED.
At the 300 Metres, SUPER COMMANDER and CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN bumped.
Passing the 300 Metres, SEE U AGAIN got its head on the side and was reluctant to shift to the outside of PRETTY QUEEN PRAWN to obtain clear running.
After the 200 Metres, BULB PRINCE shifted out abruptly, resulting in its rider having to change his whip into his left hand.
Passing the 150 Metres, HAPPY GOOD GUYS raced in restricted room between SCOTCH TYCOON and SEE U AGAIN which shifted out.
After the 100 Metres, SAVVY DELIGHT shifted in under pressure and then continued to lay in under pressure over the concluding stages.
Passing the 50 Metres, CIRCUIT SEVEN raced tight inside the heels of OVERSUBSCRIBED.
Throughout the race, PRETTY QUEEN PRAWN travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of GANG OF BROTHERS, HAPPY GOOD GUYS and CHUNGHWA JINGSHEN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SCOTCH TYCOON and SEE U AGAIN were sent for sampling.
