3 3 EXCELLENT FIGHTER (G343) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and in the middle stages raced keenly. Approaching the 300 Metres was bumped by MUGEN which shifted out.
4 2 CELESTIAL COLOURS (H362) Leaving the 900 Metres raced keenly when being steadied to allow WUNDERBAR to cross.
5 14 AMAZING RUN (H401) Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
6 1 NOT USUAL STAR (G396) Bumped heavily shortly after the start. Between the 400 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running. Near the 150 Metres was shifted to the inside of CELESTIAL COLOURS to continue into clear running.
7 9 CALIFORNIA VOCE (H258) From the outside wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 10 KA YING VICTORY (H287) Bumped at the start. Leaving the 900 Metres was steadied away from CELESTIAL COLOURS. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 6 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) Jumped awkwardly.
10 12 MONTA FRUTTA (H455) Jumped only fairly.
11 4 ALL IS GOOD (G269) Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 13 MASTER STROKE (J036) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Had difficulty obtaining clear running for some distance approaching the 300 Metres.
13 5 ORIENTAL SMOKE (E467) No report.
14 8 SAKEWIN (G275) On jumping was bumped by KA YING VICTORY which shifted in, resulting in SAKEWIN becoming unbalanced. The performance of SAKEWIN, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, SAKEWIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV MODULECONSTRUCTION (H127) Withdrawn on 16.12.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (left front tendon injury) and replaced by second Standby Declared Starter CALIFORNIA VOCE. Before being allowed to race again, MODULECONSTRUCTION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
WV RAGNARR (H297) Withdrawn on 15.12.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore) and replaced by first Standby Declared Starter AMAZING RUN. Before being allowed to race again, RAGNARR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
