1 3 NOTTHESILLYONE (J383) Jumped awkwardly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 11 CHEER FOR SOUTH (H178) Bumped on jumping. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 12 DOUBLE BINGO (J309) On jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate, resulting in DOUBLE BINGO jumping only fairly. Shortly after DOUBLE BINGO was then bumped by HANDSOME BLOND which shifted out abruptly despite the efforts of its rider K Teetan. Near the 400 Metres was shifted to the outside of BEAUTY FORMULA to obtain clear running.
4 5 GLORY CLOUD (H320) Was left racing wide and without cover from the 700 Metres.
5 10 FORTUNE RACER (J234) Bumped at the start and became unbalanced. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 8 ORIENTAL SURPRISE (K028) Over the concluding stages lay in and away from FORTUNE RACER and as a consequence could not be ridden out to the finish.
7 6 LUCKY BLESSING (K073) Apprentice E C W Wong stated that his mount resented the kickback when positioned behind runners during the race and this was the principal reason why it did not run on strongly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 9 EXCELLENT DADDY (E321) Over the final 50 Metres could not be ridden out when racing tight to the inside of LUCKY BLESSING.
9 4 LEGEND STAR (K271) Bumped on jumping. Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 1 BEAUTY FORMULA (K066) Bounded on jumping and lost ground.
11 7 NOBLE GO (K053) Jumped only fairly.
12 2 HANDSOME BLOND (K241) Shifted out abruptly at the start and was bumped. K Teetan reported that after being crossed by LUCKY BLESSING leaving the 700 Metres his mount got its head up and ran out when steadied to avoid the heels of LUCKY BLESSING. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
