12 11 HAPPY TANGO (D075) 11 M Guyon Jumped only fairly. Near the 400 Metres lay in and as a result was steadied to avoid CHEER FOR SOUTH. Near the 200 Metres was bumped by GENERAL SMART which shifted out. As a result HAPPY TANGO then could not be ridden out for some distance thereafter when positioned close to SANTORINI. Trainer Y S Tsui advised the instructions were to take up a more forward position but despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
3 12 EVER SMART (J179) 5 H Doyle Shortly after the start shifted in and was bumped. Raced keenly in the early stages and for some distance leaving the 800 Metres was steadied away from HAPPY HORSE.

Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running. H Bentley advised that he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages from the outside barrier. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions and said such instructions were issued to offset the outside barrier.
7 4 SERANGOON (H296) 5 Z Purton Bumped on jumping. Z Purton reported that in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off in a one-paced manner. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

12 6 MEGA FORCE (K200) 3 L Ferraris L Ferraris reported that his mount lay in throughout the event before giving ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a mild abrasion to the left hind leg.
9 7 VIVA TASTE (K415) 7 M Guyon Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
1 8 DOUBLE WIN (H382) 1 H Doyle Near the 300 Metres lay in towards KINGLY DEMEANOR. When being corrected to avoid KINGLY DEMEANOR, DOUBLE WIN shifted out and made contact with SHARPEN BRIGHT approaching the 250 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 9 MANAGEMENT FOLKS (E496) 8 K Teetan Jumped only fairly. Crowded near the 500 Metres.
10 10 MISSION STRIKE (J377) 6 L Hewitson Bumped on jumping. After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on MISSION STRIKE at the request of Trainer M Newnham. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, MISSION STRIKE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
5 11 PERFECT PAIRING (J331) 2 M Chadwick Jumped only fairly. After being held up for clear running on the Home Turn was then steadied and shifted to the inside of DOUBLE WIN approaching the 300 Metres to obtain clear running. Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of KINGLY DEMEANOR.

B Avdulla reported that his instructions were to settle where comfortable. He said after STAR BROSE jumped awkwardly and made contact with WAH MAY WAI WAI it settled further back in the field than he had anticipated.

6 9 GOLD TACK (H106) 3 J Orman Near the 350 Metres STORM RUNNER improved to the inside of PERPETUAL POWER when that runner shifted out. A short distance later PERPETUAL POWER (M Guyon) shifted back in, resulting in STORM RUNNER making slight contact with GOLD TACK and STORM RUNNER then being turned in due to the contact, resulting in GOLD TACK having to be steadied when crowded. The Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Guyon had endeavoured to correct his mount when it shifted back in. No action was taken.
7 10 COOL BLUE (H011) 8 R Kingscote Jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 1200 Metres was steadied away from SILVER KING.

Jockey Ferraris was reprimanded and advised in the circumstances he should correct his mounts sooner than what he did. After being crossed by KING GLORIOSO near the 1000 Metres then continued to race keenly and approaching the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid KING GLORIOSO.
8 5 CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (G451) 4 J McDonald J McDonald could offer no explanation for his mount’s failure to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

4 8 SAME TO YOU (H057) 8 L Hewitson Bumped at the start. L Hewitson stated that the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner but after jumping well it held a more forward position than what had been intended.
7 9 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) 1 K C Leung On jumping shifted out and made contact with the left side of its starting gate and then shortly after shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of GREAT STATE. Making the first turn commenced to race keenly and got its head up when positioned close to CALIFORNIA DEEPLY. VIGOR ELLEEGANT continued to race keenly in the middle stages. Making the Home Turn was held up for clear running behind SPEEDY TRIDENT. After the 300 Metres VIGOR ELLEEGANT had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SPEEDY TRIDENT. Passing the 150 Metres was eased and shifted to the outside of CALIFORNIA DEEPLY to continue into clear running.

Near the 250 Metres was shifted to the outside of CALL TO COMMAND to obtain clear running. Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres then raced tight between REWARDING BUDDY and CALL TO COMMAND which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.

Trainer M Newnham stated that LUNAR DASH may not have been suited by being ridden in a forward position tonight and at its next start he will instruct the rider to ride the horse in a more conservative manner. Trainer C S Shum stated that, in his opinion, ETERNAL FORTUNE may not have performed to expectation tonight after having a hard run on 2 November 2025. 3 3 WONDERSTAR (J531) 3 M Guyon Shifted out shortly after the start, was bumped and became unbalanced. Near the 850 Metres became unbalanced when bumped by DEVAS TWELVE which lay in and away from PARENTS’ LOVE despite the efforts of its rider. Bumped near the 600 Metres. Lay in in the Home Straight, resulting in its rider M Guyon changing his whip through to his right hand after the 150 Metres.
2 4 LOVE TOGETHER (L052) 8 C Y Ho Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped. Making the first turn near the 600 Metres hung out and as a result made contact with SIX THREE WIN. LOVE TOGETHER then continued to hang out making the turns in the middle stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
8 5 PARENTS' LOVE (H405) 12 Y L Chung (-2) Y L Chung stated that he had made too much use of his mount in the early stages to lead and as a consequence the horse was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

When questioned about the improved performance Trainer P C Ng stated that at its last start the horse was disadvantaged by drawing a wide barrier and not running out a strong 1200 Metres. He added that tonight BLUE ILLUSION was advantaged by drawing towards the inside and dropping back in distance to 1000 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
