Racing Incident Report
When the gates opened, GOLD SADDLE stood flat-footed and lost a lot of ground. Before the horse can race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial (stalls test). NOBLE CHARGE jumped awkwardly and shifted out abruptly across the heels of WINNING MASCOT. Near the 700 Metres, ABBA became unbalanced when momentarily crowded between BOND and LOMBARD (Apprentice K C Tsang) which shifted in. Apprentice K C Tsang was advised to exercise care at all times when shifting ground. About the 700 Metres, SAI KUNG STAR was checked when disappointed for running on the inside of BOND. Near the 500 Metres, JUST WIN, which was having its first race start not travelling kindly and hanging out, was checked away from the heels of GOOD TIME FOR ALL. In the circumstances, no action was taken. W M Lai (JUST WIN) said in the Straight the horse was not stretching out as it should and he was concerned with its action. Before JUST WIN can race again, it will be subject to an official veterinary examination. GOOD TIME FOR ALL was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
