Racing Incident Report

CENTURY SUPER STAR was slow to begin. DELIGHTFUL WIN began awkwardly and was then taken back. From a wide barrier, after being bumped at the start by MULTI KING which began awkwardly, SUPER FANTASY was then steadied and taken across behind runners to a position on the rail but at the rear. In the early stages, MULTI KING was ridden along and failed to muster speed and in the middle stages hung out. After the 1100 Metres, CENTURY SUPER STAR, which had been hard ridden to make up ground, became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside the heels of GALAXY DANCER. Prior to the 600 Metres, DELIGHTFUL WIN was steadied away from the heels of I'M NO SQUARE. At the 300 Metres, GLORIOUS RHYTHM was checked when crowded for room between CENTURY SUPER STAR which shifted out and HIGHWAY PATROL which when giving ground shifted in. In the circumstances, no action was taken. For some distance approaching and passing the 200 Metres, SUPER FANTASY, which was closing the race off strongly, was steadied when unable to obtain clear running. After the 200 Metres, SUPER FANTASY was shifted to the inside of SILLY BOY into clear running. Over about the final 200 Metres, DELIGHTFUL WIN was not able to obtain clear running. Because of this, DELIGHTFUL WIN was not tested. Prior to the winning post, GALAXY DANCER was steadied away from the heels of CHINA HERO which was giving ground. Throughout the race, HIGHWAY PATROL travelled wide and without cover. SUPER FANTASY was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SUPER FANTASY after the race did not show any significant findings. PRIMIATA and I'M NO SQUARE were sent for sampling.
