Racing Incident Report

Soon after jumping, SWEET SANETTE was crowded for room between ADMIRATION and BLAZE KING which got its head on the side and shifted in. Approaching the 400 Metres, DIM SUM was steadied away from the heels of ENTRAPMENT which shifted out. After passing the 400 Metres, LITTLE BRIDGE attempted to improve its position to the outside of BLAZE KING, however, was disappointed when BLAZE KING shifted out soon after. LITTLE BRIDGE was then directed back in, however, remained to be held up behind SWEET SANETTE and BLAZE KING, both of which commenced to give ground. As a consequence, LITTLE BRIDGE struck the heels of BLAZE KING at the 100 Metres and blundered. Inside the 300 Metres, SACRED KINGDOM was momentarily held up when being switched in across the heels of CALIFORNIA CHOICE in order to find clear running. When questioned, B Doyle stated that SWEET SANETTE did not show the early speed as he anticipated, however, eventually took up a prominent position. He added that SWEET SANETTE was never travelling on the bit and was a beaten horse prior to the 200 Metres. A veterinary inspection of SWEET SANETTE and LITTLE BRIDGE after the race did not show any significant findings. CALIFORNIA CHOICE, ENTRAPMENT and SACRED KINGDOM were sent for sampling.
