Racing Incident Report
HONG KONG VITALITY jumped awkwardly, because of this M de Montfort was momentarily unbalanced. PEGASUS STAR missed the start. On jumping, ISLAND WEST TREBLE was momentarily tightened for room between CENTURY STAR and KOH-I-NOOR. About the 500 Metres, DOLBRIDGE was steadied and shifted out abruptly to avoid ISLAND WEST TREBLE, this caused some inconvenience to RED IN GREEN. In the Straight, FULL THROTTLE hung out and in the run to the winning post travelled beside the outside rail. D Whyte (PEGASUS STAR) said on the Home Turn the horse made an abnormal breathing noise and in the Straight he eased it down. After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon examined PEGASUS STAR and in his opinion the horse was showing signs of having an irregular heart beat. Before being allowed to race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial and will be subject to an official veterinary examination.
